H2H Challenge #6

I haven't done any crafts all week!!! But here I am Finally catching up!
This week's H2H Challenge was to create something that uses a technique and show how to do the technique.
My Boyfriend's bowling team made it into the Championships and they always call me their Cheerleader. Since they made it to the championships, I said I would do something Cheerleader-like for the big game.
So I decided this would be a Perfect Opportunity to bring my sracpbooking to the bowling alley! I made a sign to show off at the game.
The Technique I used was Chalk Popping. The background of the sign is a stars and swirls stamp from the Star Power stamp set. For this technique you just need: VersaMark, Chalk, and a stamp!
First, stamp your image in VersaMark.
Next, stamp it on the paper.
Next, use your chalk applicator and rub over where you stamped.

This technique works really great with background stamps...which I didn't use on this, but I still like how it turned out.
Here's some close ups of the chalk popping:

Can't believe I made this in time!!!
Hope you like it :)

I love all the bright colors in this poster! And that Posterboard stamp set is a favorite of mine.
So...how did your team do?

Nice poster, the chalk popping works great with this stamp set, it's like the poster is cheering too.

The team didn't win. :( But it was very close the whole time and the team they played against was our friends so I guess it was okay.
In the end everyone liked the poster and had fun, that's what counts.

LOL a bowwling poster. I never thought to make one when my daughter played...though she would have maybe killed me if I did. ;) I was just going to ask if they won but see that they did not :( I loved your sign and I bet you were a great cheerleader. Glad everyone liked the sign as it was super cute.

Chalk popping is so fun! Isn't it amazing how the colors intensify the longer they sit? I'm sure you were a GREAT cheerleader!
